Christa Fairbrother

You know the conversation starter where you ask, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"  My first answer, as far back as I can remember, was 'I want to be a writer,' or if I trusted you, I'd say 'poet.'

It's been a long time coming, but I can finally say I'm not just a writer but an award-winning author and published poet.

My non-fiction work has focused on applying the principles of yoga in the water.

As a poet, I write about women's experiences, living with chronic illness, and Florida.

I live in beautiful Tampa Bay, Florida, with my partner and two sons.

I appreciate connecting with you, and I hope my work brightens your days wherever you live 💖

A golden sunset over the ocean. The text overlay says, "The Resilient Poet. Poetry on chronic illness."

The Resilient Poet Newsletter brings you new poems, critical analysis, discussion around chronic illness and embodied poetry 2 or three times per month.

I'd love to connect with you.
