You know the conversation starter where you ask, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"  My first answer, as far back as I can remember, was 'I want to be a writer,' or if I trusted you, I'd say 'poet.'

It's been a long time coming, but I can finally say I'm not just a writer but an award-winning author and published poet.

My non-fiction work has focused on applying the principles of yoga in the water.

As a poet, I write about women's experiences, living with chronic illness, and the environment, especially in Florida.

I live in beautiful Tampa Bay, Florida, with my partner and two sons.
